The Door

Okay…….I took a drive North a few hours to the mystical, magical Door County Wisconsin. Something about being surrounded by water, (Lake Michigan to the East, Green Bay to the West) creates a light in rain or shine that is quite unique. Where can you eat breakfast watching the sun rise over the great Lake Michigan, and then see it set over the same lake body of water while eating dinner. Just by driving 15 minutes West. Quite a spectacular peninsula. I highly recommend a visit for some great midwest summer time fun! And Cherry pies abound!
